I have recently seen 2 instances of people confusing the usage of the word Camp on the Kerry Camino we have a village called Camp (the irish is Càm or bend ) so to prevent any other confusion I am creating a unofficial and incomplete guide to the village of Camp Co. Kerry (UIGVCCK for short!)

There is an Upper Camp and a Lower Camp so you come off at different points on the route. Zoom in on the map below to see both sites, the yellow route goes to Lower camp the red goes to upper camp
